Diverse Pathways into a Changing World of Work
Entering professional life has rarely been as diverse as it is today. Economic interrelationships, digital processes, automation and new technologies shape our everyday working life just as much as organization, communication and business acumen. Anyone starting vocational training or academic studies today needs orientation – and a strong partner at their side. This is exactly where Sandler AG comes in.
Training with Variety and a strong Practical Focus
Sandler AG offers a wide range of commercial, technical and IT‑related training pathways. Many of the vocational training programs are closely linked to nonwovens – from laboratory and production to logistics.
The training portfolio is complemented by opportunities to combine vocational training and academic studies. One example is the dual study program “Innovative Textiles”, which combines theoretical content with hands‑on experience within the company and provides insights into modern textile production and development processes. A key pillar of this practice‑oriented qualification is Sandler’s in‑house Technical Training Center, where trainees and students gain early practical experience and become familiar with real-world operational processes
New Apprenticeship Program: Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)
Starting this September, Sandler AG will expand its training portfolio to include the apprenticeship program Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d). This program combines mechanics, electronics and digital control technology and is an essential component of modern, automated production environments.
The new profession complements existing technical training programs such as production mechanic, industrial mechanic or textile laboratory technician (m/f/d) and addresses the growing demand for qualified skilled professionals in industry.
Personal Support & Learning as a Team
A key element of training at Sandler AG is individual support. Experienced trainers accompany apprentices throughout their entire training period. Exchange between apprentices from different cohorts helps to ease the transition into professional life and strengthens teamwork and collaboration within the company.
Girls’ Day: Experiencing tech-nology first‑hand
Girls’ Day is an integral part of Sandler AG’s training initiative. On a regular basis, female students take the opportunity to spend a day at the company and explore technical professions. The varied program includes insights into electronics, industrial mechanics and mechatronics, hands‑on activities in the Technical Training Center, as well as a guided tour of a production facility.
“It is important to us to show that technology is exciting, understandable and hands‑on – especially when young people can try things out themselves and ask questions”, says Annika Schuberth, HR Officer.
Internships & Working Student positions: Experiencing Sandler Day‑to‑Day
In addition to trade fairs and special events, internships and working student positions offer another important way to get to know Sandler AG. Internships – ideally during the Whitsun holidays – allow students to gain initial insights into vocational training professions and everyday working life at the company.
Sandler also offers a wide range of opportunities for college and university students: through working student positions, study‑related internships as well as bachelor’s and master’s theses and project work, students can deepen their knowledge, gain practical experience and build early connections for their future careers.
