What is polyniq®?
polyniq® is Sandler Group's new product line of special polymer meltblown nonwovens based on select high-performance plastics with specific properties:
- Resistance to aggressive environments
- Temperature stability up to 200 °C and more
- Specific functionalities: hydrophilic, electrostatically charged, low-emission
- Bio-based and compostable options

Each polyniq® medium is based on a purposefully selected special polymer that impresses with its distinctive properties. We select the right polymer depending on type of application, target environment and performance criteria. A brief overview of the most important material platforms:

Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)
For extreme heat and aggressive chemicals.
PPS is the first choice when things get hot and challenging: With excellent chemical resistance, this high-performance polymer is ideal for industrial applications such as exhaust or hot gas filtration. Even in contact with solvents or oils, PPS remains dimensionally stable and efficient. Processing requires experience. Sandler polyniq® transforms PPS into marketable solutions.
Polylactic Acid (PLA)
Bio-based, functional – and a real alternative.
PLA is a sustainable polymer made from renewable raw materials. The polymeric material is industrially compostable and features good strength values and a low density – ideal for environmentally conscious filtration solutions. With polyniq®, Sandler Group uses PLA in meltblown media that not only think green, but are also functionally convincing.
Polyamide 6 (PA6)
Hydrophilic, robust, versatile.
PA6 combines very good mechanical properties with high abrasion resistance and natural hydrophilicity, making it the ideal candidate for meltblown media in liquid filtration. With polyniq®, Sandler relies on specially optimized PA6 grades that are convincing both in processing and in their applications.
