From “Fast Forward Fabric“ to finexus®
The finexus® development process started out as “Fast Forward Fabric”. This name embodied our ambition to create a future-oriented nonwoven solution for vehicle construction. As the brand evolved, it became clear that a name was needed that more accurately reflected our vision and could be better integrated into our existing brand portfolio. This is how finexus® came about. The word finexus® is newly coined from “fiber” and “nexus”, from latin “nectere”, meaning to tie, to link, or to bond, and illustrates how our nonwovens become high-performing materials by bonding fine fibers. This way, finexus® is the next highlight in the development of Sandler’s brand strategy. finexus® optimally complements bluefiber and fits seamlessly into our portfolio.

A strong brand needs a clear visual identity. This is why we have developed a design for finexus® that represents the various facets of the brand. The color stands for reliability and innovation. The font reflects the form of our products, while the combination of the “f” in finexus® with a nonwoven roll symbolizes the technical basis of finexus® as well as its uniqueness.
