How Sandler layerlab works
Every absorbant hygiene product consists of several functional layers. layerlab allows you to choose the optimum combination from different material classes:
- Topsheet – For rapid fluid absorption and an immediately pleasant sense of dryness.
- Acquisition Distribution Layer (ADL) – Ensures efficient distribution and intermediate storage of the fluid until the SAP is activated.
- Backsheet – Provides protection and breathability and adds a great textile hand to diapers
Standard, Premium or Sustainable - choose the design class that meets your requirements.
Design Classes - The right choice of material for your product
layerlab offers you three material classes for simple and reliable processing:
Standard: Proven, tried and tested materials with simple and reliable processing. Ideal for an economical production of high quality products.
Premium: Materials with additional functions, such as special fiber properties, increased strength, more elongation or an extra soft feel. Perfect for sophisticated products with individual properties.
Sustainable: Sustainable materials made from biodegradable or 100% bio-based raw materials. An ideal choice for environmentally friendly, plastic-free hygiene products with a reduced CO₂ footprint.
