Sandler Academy
Can school, training or university equip you with all necessary knowledge and maintain long-term employability? No. This is not the case in today's society, nor was it possible 10 or 15 years ago.
Lifelong learning: why we should never stop
The world around us is changing rapidly. While some professions are evolving, others are becoming obsolete. Much of the knowledge acquired years ago is no longer relevant. If you want to “stay on the ball” in your professional life and master challenges in your personal life, you should be interested in professional and personal learning and development opportunities. To support these initiatives, we present to you: The Sandler Academy.
Creating, maintaining and developing skills
We continuously work to optimize the learning environment for our employees, create new development paths, and develop target-oriented programs. Our approach is to proactively manage training progress, identify trends, and expedite skill development.
Career development at Sandler is diverse. The focus is not always on personnel / line management and the way to the top. We see development more like a climbing wall. Through the Sandler Academy, we want to offer our development opportunities for every phase of life. Offerings could include individual professional seminars, seminars for personal development, training for a professional career in a specialized area, or cross-divisional development through a project career.
We focus on customized solutions
A lot has already happened under the “umbrella” of the Sandler Academy. In Schwarzenbach, for example, we launched the JUMP junior management program in 2018. This specialist career path includes individual development plans from junior to senior. We have also offered specialist development programs, such as the nonwovens expert or internal training to become a warehouse specialist. We are now expanding our range to include a project career path..
